Call for Abstracts

The British Philosophy of Sport Association invites the submission of abstracts to be considered for presentation at the 2004 BPSA conference. The conference will take place on 24-25 June, 2004, at the University of Gloucestershire, UK, hosted by the Centre for Ethics, Equity & Sport.

The conference will offer a unique opportunity for academics, practitioners, administrators, students and journalists to increase their knowledge, share experiences, and strengthen connections between individuals and organisations interested and involved in the philosophy of sport.

Abstracts are welcome on any area of philosophy of sport, including metaphysics, epistemology, aesthetics and ethics, and from any theoretical approach, including analytic philosophy and critical theory.

Abstracts should be 300-500 words long and must be received by March 31, 2004.

Abstracts can be submitted electronically to Dr Heather Sheridan, and/or Dr Mike McNamee. Preferred submission is MS Word. Please send hard copies (only if e-mail is not available) to:
